Top Credit Card Service Providers in Bangladesh

Credit card becomes a buzzword toward building a cashless economy. This is a plastic card that uses electronic technologies and is offered by the banks and NBFIs to lend money to individuals.

It provides a convenient way to make purchases using borrowed funds from banks. The most important feature of credit is that you need not pay any interest if you repay the borrowing within then grace period given by the bank. There are other benefits of credit cards as well; e.g. cash rewards, discounts, EMI, etc.

Though this is beneficial to many, it can easily dig anyone down to debt if he is not careful about the spending. Missing payment dates can also impact your creditworthiness and CIB in the long run.
The concept of credit cards in Bangladesh is not new. This service was first offered by ANZ Grindlays Bank (now Standard Chartered Bank) in 1989. It also became the first bank to issue Master or Visa card in 1997. Now all major banks provide this invaluable service.

No single credit card is best for everyone, every purchase or every budget. As most of the banks offering card services, it is tough to identify the best one. “Best Card” depends on a variety of situations.
