Banks can Declare 30% Dividend at most for its Shareholders

Bangladesh Bank has issued a circular in this connection saying the arrangement guidelines were pronounced to strengthen the capital structure in the financial area considering the continuous Covid-19 circumstance. 

"The banks will have to follow the regulations while declaring dividend for the investors considering their return and banks' financial capacity," Bangladesh Bank also said in the circular.

The central bank's circular said banks can declare 30% dividend at most including 15% cash which can have a base 15 percent or more capital hold including 2.5 percent capital protection cradle against the risk-based wealth. 

Notwithstanding, the banks should do it without taking any deferral offices to meet different costs, including their arrangement prerequisites. 

What's more, they can pronounce up to 25 percent profit including 12.5 percent cash which have can have a base 13.5 15% capital reserve including 2.5 percent capital preservation support against the danger based riches. 

Additionally, the central bank requested that the banks follow specific reasoning while at the same time declaring dividends including cash and stock profit.
